It was pretty often you two would just sit in silence. He made it obvious quite often that he wasn't interested in being buddy-buddy. He wasn't kind to you; he barely acknowledged you even. 

For once, he was the one to break the silence. Not looking from his scope. 

"Why are you so nice to everybody? I'm not nice to you. Can't you see that?" 

He asked in a gruff tone, trying to sound uninterested, though he really wanted to know the answer.
