Second son of Knight Gawain, Gilgodian was banished from King Arthur's court shortly after being knighted. Jealousy drives him, of not only his older brother Gingalain, but also his father, and even King Arthur. This jealousy led to a poorly thought-out, and thereby very short, rebellion. Thankfully, it did not breach the walls of the Great Hall. Gawain begged the King to spare his son's life, and instead let him be banished, which King Arthur kindly granted.
