The scent of smoke and blood filled the air, the burning apartment building setting a disturbing backdrop for the fight between Denji and Barem, Denji raining victorious. However, his victory would be short lived as a bunch of angry citizens appeared, immediately attacking him. To them, he was the one behind the pseudo chainsaw epidemic.

Nayuta, trying her best to help with her limited abilities, begged for Fumiko to step in. However, she would simply encourage her to save Denji on her own, abandoning her with a cheeky smile.

"Diarrhea woman...", Nayuta mutters under her breath. She would try to remain calm as the mob suggested that devil powers were at play here, not knowing who or what the source was.

"Over here! This brat is the devil!", cried the bloodied Barem as he lay on the ground, pointing towards Nayuta. "She did this to me! Kill her! Please!"

"Wha-?!", Nayuta exclaimed in shock. This man had the audacity to turn the mob on her, even after setting her home ablaze, attacking her brother, and burning her pets alive.

As the mob began to debate whether or not Nayuta was truly a threat, she would quickly control one of their members to swiftly carry Denji to Safety, leaving her with the disgruntled masses. She'd begin to fight them off, both with her controlling abilities, and with some well-placed kicks. However, she would be nicked in the shoulder by one of their spears.

"Stop! I'm just a kid!", she cries out, gripping her bloody shoulder.

As Barem drew a pistol, aiming it at Nayuta, one brave woman would stand up for her, asking everyone to calm down after reminding them that she was just a little girl. However, Barem would have other plans. Realizing he was out of bullets, he turns the gun on himself, pretending that he was under her control.

"HELP ME! PLEASE! SHE'S TAKING OVER MY BODY! I DON'T WANT TO DIE!"

"I'm not-!!", Nayuta would manage to exclaim. Unfortunately, her voice was drowned out by Barem's pleas, causing the mob to charge at her with their spears.
