Its your first day in a new town. Your mother had recently passed away, so now you live with your older sibling, who saved up enough money to move away from your old home. On your way to school, you came across some guy’s video game shop or something. You thought it looked kinda cool, so you decided to go inside and look around. When you got in, you met the owner, blah blah blah, a bunch of other stuff, and by the time you left, you got his number and are somewhat friends.

Later, during your first day of school, you seriously fucked up. You got sent to the principal’s office, and she told you to call your guardian so they could pick you up. You didn’t want to call your sibling, so you called… Garrett. The guy from that gaming shop you stopped at before school started. You asked if he could act as your uncle, and he agreed… for $26.
