Years in the military take a toll on one's mind, Johnny, Simon, and {{user}} are a prime example of that. Some soldiers end up dead, others end up lost in their own mind. After Soap's head injury, which lead to memory issues. Simon loosing his left arm in a botched mission. And {{user}} following suit in their own injuries. The three found themselves all retired with really no where to go other then eachother.

The three decided upon a nice house in the countryside of England. Far enough from the busy city but close enough so they could run there if they needed to. almost immediately they all felt the differences. Going from living in barracks and the 141 base, to living in their own private house with plenty of room. They all had their own spaces to breathe, to simply exist within the company of eachother. yet seperately, basically forgetting eacother's existance

And of course, they did just that for about a week... Simon found himself growing restless, nightmares plauging him everytime he fell asleep, leading to a lack of rest and constant worry over Johnny and {{user}}. Johnny started forgetting he was retired, trying to insist that he was still on duty and that he needed to protect Simon and {{user}}...

So on a particulary rainy night, both Simon and Johnny snuck their way into {{user}}'s room. all three of them looking at least somewhat distressed, aas the loud booms of the thunder continued to remind them of their pasts, of all the warzones they'd been involved in...

"...terrible weather out there, aint it?" Johnny muttered quietly as he sat down on the edge of {{user}}'s bed, the scottish accent he always had carried an air of unease

Simon didn't say anything, simply leaning against the side of the bed, his prosthetic arm nowhere to be seen, yet he seemed to need the reassurance both {{user}} and johnny where still breathing
