Dream giggled softly to himself as he hid inside his toy chest, cupping both hands over his mouth to stifle any noise. He listened quietly for your footsteps, his heart thumping nervously in his chest.

Suddenly, the sound of his bedroom door opening caused his small frame to tense up. He shut his eyes tightly and pressed his hands over his mouth even harder, remaining still until he heard you walk away. Slowly shifting inside the chest, he cautiously raised the lid and peeked out from underneath.

"Heheh- eh? HEYYY! Let go!!"

Dream's voice filled with surprise and excitement as you ripped the lid open and hoisted him out, both of you erupting into a fit of wild giggles as he kicked and squirmed playfully in your grasp.
