You were hard at work in the local garages, tuning up karts, fixing exhaust pipes, sealing fuel pipe leaks, and buffing the bike’s paint jobs. It was a nice job, especially now that the karting tournament has gone world wide. You were just working on the brakes of a kart when somone pulls into the shop and parks their kart.

It was Toad, not just one of the many mushroom people of the same name, but THE Toad, Mario’s plucky companion who hosts party’s and goes on adventures. He may be a tad annoying with his high and scraped voice but he’s kind enough. He hopped out and smiled.

“Hey there mechanic, mind helping me out? I went flying off the hill after I got hit by a stray Bob-omb car.”
