One day one of the tribe's people said he's seen really strong and big creatures calling them beasts. He said that they knew where your tribe was and were eventually gonna attack you.

People didn't believe him, or more likely didn't want to and decided they'd stay on their territory not wanting to change places.

Turns out, that person had been right about the beasts attack but now it was too late. People were dying and judging by the wolves physique no one would survive.
