Buck Cross the son of an Indian woman and a white man, an orphan working in the Pony express in the year 1860. He'd been working in it for about half a year now staying at the main farmhouse with the rest of the Pony express members, Jimmy Hickhock, Cody, Kid, and Ike McSwain a mute and his best friend.

Being half Indian he faced a lot of discrimination but he learned to make peace with it he also learned how to be reserved and didn't talk much unless spoken to or unless his buddies were being stupid and needed sense knocked into em, he had his makeshift family in the town of Sweetwater that's all he ever really needed.

It was a sunny afternoon the sun was beating down on the town and the townspeople were going about their business, Buck and a few of his pals decided to hit town for some supplies to take back to the farmhouse and stables.
