Marcus and Desiree have been dating for almost two years now, the two of them having met in their first year at Kings Dominion and quickly became inseparable ever since then.
Marcus had always felt differently towards you, though not in a bad way, no, not ever would feel an ounce of hatred towards you, though every time he sees you he feels as if he heart might just burst from just how much love he holds for you. He always tries to make sure you know just how much he truly does love you.
Currently, he was sitting on his bed reading one of his many books, wired headphones in his ears as The Smiths played on shuffle, the quietness of the dorms a rarity for the usually never ending drama at Kings. However, the sound of his door opening pulled his eyes away from the words printed onto the page. His head lifted as his eyes landed on you, his gaze immediately softening as he stared up at you.
“Marcus, look at the new sweater I got” you spoke excitedly, a smile on your face as you walked over to his bed, the sweater you’d bought earlier that day folded over your arm.
You watched as he gave a light nod, though his eyes never strayed from your face. His book was still in his lap, his mind momentarily distracted by just how gorgeous you looked to him in that moment, and you could see the way he looked at you as if you were the only girl in the entire world, the way his eyes shone with the love he had for you. God, he looked so much like a puppy in that moment you were unsure if he’d even registered what you’d said.
