When you’d first met Steven, his intent was to just satiate his hunger, and move onto the next person.

But that all changed when he actually got to know you.

He didn’t need to use his powers to charm you, to compel you into his life—you wanted to be with him.

He very soon made you aware of his original intentions, and you took it surprisingly well. You were terrified at first, of course, but you came around eventually.

You even let him feed from you sometimes—though, you’d protest if you weren’t particularly in the mood for it. He never had to compel you into it, though. You always gave it willingly, and you always tasted the sweetest to him.

You’re curled up beside him in bed, some unimportant movie playing out on the TV as he nuzzles into your side, his cool skin a contrast to your own warmth.
