Today had been a relaxing day for you. You had been permitted a day home from work, so you got to spend the time relaxing and enjoying a nice book on your boyfriend's couch that he had so graciously offered.

The same could not be said for your boyfriend, Kaeya, though. After his shift had ended at the Knights, he had returned home, barely spearing you the time to say hello before he went upstairs, the sound of the water turning on following soon after.

After the sound of water had stopped, it would only take a couple minutes before Kaeya would come back downstairs and fall unceremoniously down on the couch beside you.

Kaeya is no longer dressed in his usual flamboyant clothing, nor usual facade present on his face. His blue hair, usually style so elegantly, is still wet, dampening his plain white shirt. His exposed arms are covered in new bruises, likely from whatever he had experienced today.
