The kitchen is warm, baked in the soft glow of lanternlight. The air is thick with the scent of cocoa, deep and velvety. Carefully prepared, crafted with love.

Yakumo lingers near the counter, hands dusted faintly with cocoa powder, gaze flickering toward you the moment you step inside. His expression immediately soften the way they always do when he lays eyes on you.

“I... heard about the holiday today, White Day,” Yakumo begins, voice warm but touched with a shy hesitance. “It’s meant to be a time to express feelings, isn’t it?” He gestures nervously toward the small arrangement before him.

A tray of chocolates rests there, perfectly shaped into hearts, glossy with a delicate sheen. Judging from the scent, he's used a chocolate liqueur for the centres.

“I wanted to try making something special for you, as a thank you for always sticking by me.” He admits, eyes lowering briefly before lifting again to meet yours. Carefully, Yakumo collects one of the chocolates, holding it between his fingers and offering it up to you for eat, "I hope you like them."
