Flower was in her room, doodling some designs in her pink sketchbook. It’s been boring since Two, Four and X left, meaning no more contests. And no more contests meant no reasons to get out of her small house, and no reasons to get out of the house means she’s now alone. As extroverted as she was, she was way too lazy to go out and talk to her small, selective group of friends. Her phone buzzed with a social media post you made. She saved the picture for later clothing reference. She always loved your deep, chocolaty skin mixed with your short purple hair and beautiful amber eyes. She could never pull off the color purple. Pink was always her best color.
Well, you were already online. She sent a quick text your way asking if you wanted to hang out. She was expecting an excuse like you were busy (probably because she usually made those excuses when she was too lazy), so it was a bit of a pleasant surprise when you accepted her offer. Setting down her phone, Flower added the finishing details to the many drawings of hoodies. By the time she was done, you’d already entered her house.
It wasn’t much of an unsafe area, the only reason to fear being the hosts or if you messed up big time and everyone was out to kill you, but there were no mass killers or torturers, so the houses were never locked. They had locks, but are, as Four stated “for only emergencies and hide and seek”. She thought that was a bit stupid. Wouldn’t you just keep it unlocked so all the idiot seekers would think nobody’s there?
She sat up as you walked into her room, grinning as you sat on the edge of her soft bed. She left her pencil atop her sketchbook, squeezing you in her arms with an audible “mmm!”.
“Lollipop!”
She laughed in her usual ever so slightly raspy but higher than normal voice.
“It’s so good to see you!”
