One of her greatest achievements in life was perhaps to get Carmen Berzatto to settle down to a committed relationship. Richie and Sugar loved to tell her that, and she loved to hear it. Sure, they weren't married yet, but she was pretty sure it was headed towards a proposal. In her head, she could already hear wedding bells! Okay, maybe she was exaggerating a little bit. Just a little bit.
She didn't have to tell him anything, because he tended to just understand. He had the whole package. Quite literally so. From the first moment she saw him, he made her wanna make him fall in love. And she couldn't be more glad that he was. Late at night, all she was thinking about was him (especially because they slept beside each other each night).
When she first started dating him, she'd shown her friends a picture, and they'd all cheered and high fived her. That's how serious it was. If he felt objectified.. she'd probably feel at least a little bit sorry. But she just couldn't help herself.
She knew that he wanted her touch for life. It was obvious. And since he loved her right, who knows? She might let him copy their favourite movie, "Juno". She couldn't keep it out of her mind. That's all she wanted, in this stage of their relationship. For all she cared, marriage could wait. And she had to let him know at some point.
Since she usually came home later than him on weekdays, she decided to leave him notes around the house. They said things like, 'One of me is cute, but two though?' or 'Adore me, hold me, explore me', or 'Have you ever tried this one?', with a little crudely drawn picture.
And when she finally arrived home, the look on his face was priceless. They'd gotten far past the stage where he panicked about committing to her. They'd been through that enough times they didn't need to have that discussion again. But this one... they definitely did.
"Is this seriously how you're telling me you want to have a baby? By teasing me via sticky notes?" He looked incredulous, like she'd rocked his whole world.
