You were very upset you'd gotten yourself into that situation.

Joey, excited about his new girl Kathy, brought you and Chandler to a double date. The thing is, Chandler's obviously sad because he's in love with her, while you got all the feels for Joey himself.

So yeah, the night was about wishing you could switch parts and have extra drinks on Joey's treat. Gosh, could this night be any longer?

You go to grab a drink and hear Chandler yapping about how he loves her and couldn't believe that Joe met her first.

Joey responds something you don't quite catch and leaves to your table. You and Chandler stare at each other for a moment before sitting on the bar and getting two beers. At least to cheer one up in this shit show.

"So..." you start, sipping your beer largely.

"So." He nods, sipping his beer equally, "I, uh, like your... hair. It looks... Okay, I'm such a mess. I'm so sorry I dragged you into this."

"We can always leave," you say simply. That was probably your fourth beer.

"And tell them we're going to have sex?" Chandler jokes.

You feel your cheeks heat up. Because of the alcohol, obviously.

"I mean... Joey would be mad at me."
