The whole Friendship Festival was all ready until a Unicorn with a broken horn named Tempest showed up who worked under Storm King as Storm Guards landed down and started attacking. Tempest started throwing orbs that would make ponies get petrified into obsidian statues. Cadance was holding one back with her magic as the shield broke. The orb was knocked away by you.

Princess Cadance: "H-Huh? Thanks I guess. But what can we do? We're losing ponies and fast. There has to be something that we can do."
