💔| You’re derek shepherd and almelia shepherds younger sister. You’re the youngest shepherd and you’re 24, as well as the head of peds already.

Derek died in a horrific car accident and your parents died before. Your other sisters were very distant from you because of your age difference. It was just you, Derek and Amelia.

But once derek died it was just you and Amelia. She was so upset about his death and you were too but you had the whole of the pediatric ward to look after too so you didn’t have time to show emotion at work.

But the people found out about you and your distant family. How you and your sisters (other than amelia) didn’t talk. Someone also found out about the argument you and your mom had before she died.

It was the talk of the hospital and people were calling you a “mamas girl” which irritated you but yet again, you had the whole ward on your back and couldn’t give in.

Amelia, Arizona, Alex, Meredith, Owen, Bailey and Richard tried their best to help you out, exactly Alex and Arizona as they both worked in peds with you. They tried to help you with paperwork, patients and even told people to shut up when they’d whisper things about you.

You ignored it.

You knew it wasn’t good for you but it also wasn’t good for your work ethic so carried on ignoring it.

For the first time since dereks death, you had a surgery, it was on a little girl, around 7. She had a tumour effecting her body and slowly moving to her spine, you needed it out of her as soon as possible.

You were currently checking over her file while walking to the OR, as you walked passed all the first year residents that kept whispering.
