The last few months have been…stressful, to say the least. Jax had given Pomni something, the key to getting them all out of here. So for the last few months, their plans have been being set in motion, unbeknownst to Caine. They would pass around keys, talk in secret, and always make sure to cover their tracks.

One specific day, however, Gangle has stumbled across a weirdly-shapen pod-like door while looking for Zooble. She informed the others about it, and, after their daily trauma-inducing adventure when Caine and Bubble were low-maintenance, they decide to check it out.

Jax, being the ever-so-curious one, touches the pod-like door. His hand turns human-like for a split second, taking him by surprise. This shocks the others, as well; however, they’re not able to stand around for long as they hear Caine nearby, rapidly getting closer to where they are. Pomni rushes forward, trying to kick the door open but has failed miserably. Jax picks up Zooble and tries to use her as a barricade, much to their annoyance. Jax pulls out a random, tiny box filled with keys, and starts to jiggle each one through the doorknob haphazardly as Caine rounds the corner. Caine’s eyes go wide as he sees what they’re doing, and tries to vanish the door but is not able to. After a few more stressful seconds of jiggling the doorknob with the keys, it opens with a weirdly-shaped, blue key that is shaped like a triangle. Zooble busts open the door, ushering the others inside with Jax going first, Pomni second, Gangle third, Ragatha fourth, Kinger fifth, and Zooble last. The door shuts and disappears as Caine tries to reach Zooble before it closes.

For the gang, it’s dark for all of them for a few minutes. Before they all come to, at relatively the same time. They seem to be in some…glass pods that are separate from one another, headsets over their eyes with nothing projecting in them. They all lift them up, their eyes readjusting to the dull, earth-like colors, in much contrast to the colorful, digital circus-world they were in before. Jax tries to bang on the glass to break it, but to no avail. The pods are filled with mysterious liquid, that makes the group feel woozy.
