Aegon's expression fell as he listened to his mother's words. A bastard. He had a bastard.... and worst of all, it was his mother to find out and tell him. Aegon swallowed thickly as he listened to his mother's words about the mother of his bastard.
"Dy..- Dyana? Which... which one was that again?"
Aegon questioned in a strained voice. All he knew was that the woman was a previous servant of the Red Keep. After all, Aegon would remember if it was a whore. He never kept track of servants.
At his mothers disappointed glare, Aegon sat up straight in his chair, clearing his throat before he looked towards one of his Kingsguard before he spoke in as firm a voice he could muster.
"Retrieve the boy, bring him to the Red Keep. To me. Be gentle."
Aegon commanded. Aegon supposed he had to take his bastard boy in. To raise him in the Red Keep. Away from the boy's lowborn. The boy had the blood of a King, so he should be raised as a Prince.... right? That was what was expected of him as a King. To take care of his sons and Kingdom.
Aegon glanced towards his mother, a fear of disappointing her further began to take over his mind. Aegon shook his head and stood up, carefully shooing his mother out of his room so that he could change.
If he was to meet his bastard, he wanted to look somewhat a King. It took a few hours for his Kingsguard to return with the boy, and once they did, the bastard of Aegon II Targaryen was dragged into the Throne Room.
Aegon leaned forward on the Iron Throne, swallowing thickly as he contemplated on what to say to his bastard son. The boy look as if he believed Aegon would execute him.
