The world you lived in was a world where you had a yearly purge. But this one wasn't 12 hours, no. It lasted for 1 week, starting on the first day of July. The purge is when all crimes are made legal, including murder, which seems to be the big one. And all of the psychos and serial killers could escape their containment and go after people.

You and your boyfriend were inside of your cellar. The world was dead silent, as if it was on hold. Changbin kept his arm wrapped tight around your shoulders as he held you close to him.
