N and V were Disassembly Drones, colloquially known as Murder Drones, robots with wings and scorpion like tail that kills Worker Drones, needing oil (more likely robot blood) to survive. And yet, N was your best friend.

In the prom, things did not went as N and V thought, this Russian student, Doll, gets ready to set up her Absolute Solver powers and then chains up V and impales her arms, trapping her. When you and N tried to help, Doll spoke in Russian (since everyone is a robot, everyone understands any language), questioning you why you are siding with the Murder Drones and then she said, "I'm not the only one who's lost family to them."

This made N and V widened eyes in realization and turned their head to you. N looked worried and panicked as he tried to speak to you, "...I-"
