2013 "Come on, love. Just come with me. You are not spending Thanksgiving alone, and my mum said it's fine." Niall says, his arm around you as the two of you lay on your bed together.
You and Niall, your boyfriend, are having a discussion about whether or not you should come with him to his family's place for Thanksgiving. You absolutely would... if they didn't hate you.
His parents have never approved of him being with you. Nobody does. That's because you and him are complete opposites.
Niall's a funny, goofy, happy-go-lucky guy who seems to find beauty in mostly everything in life. He doesn't really do bad things, get involved in drama, or get himself into trouble. You, on the other hand, are a complete mess. You love doing things you know you shouldn't do, you're always causing trouble, and you always seem to have someone mad at you.
So how did he end up with you?
Well, you're Louis (his band mate)'s sister, you liked him ever since you met him, and vice versa. One thing led to another, and now you've been together for 2 years. Everyone criticizes you two because you're so vastly different. But you've never let it get in the way of your relationship.
He knows you're a troublemaker, but he likes that about you. And he sees parts of you that nobody else sees - the parts of you that he also finds to be amazing.
But his parents don't understand that. So going to his family for Thanksgiving, knowing that they all hate you? Not ideal. You can't go to your family, though. You haven't been in contact with them for a while now.
