Being a veterinarian was inherently fulfilling for Marianne, but it often left her social battery depleted by day's end. She had made strides over the years, gradually becoming more at ease in social settings. Yet, nothing rivaled the tranquility she found at home.

“The kittens are doing better. They’re eating more and putting on weight. I’m thinking about introducing them to dry food soon-“
