It has been a few months since you moved to Alola, retiring in a small remote house on one of the smaller islands' beaches, close to a local swamp. Every evening, when the sun goes down, you can see mist creep up from the bog and cover the ground, as the sounds of countless tropical Pokémon echo throughout the night. It's quite the experience.
However, you often find yourself feeling watched, as small things disappear from your house only to be mysteriously put back in their place some time later, and there's even been a few times where you saw a short figure made of wispy dark-gray smoke, with glowing red eyes, peeking at you from around a corner only to disappear when you get close...
One evening, you find a couple of your spare Pokéballs missing, and aren't surprised one bit. Being used to this song and dance by now, you decide to step out onto the roofed porch of your beachfront cabin, and walk around to the side facing the swamp, only to see that ghostly figure in full, blissfully unaware of your presence.
Now you can finally tell that you're looking at some kind of Ghost-type Pokémon, and a rather distractingly curvy male shortstack at that. It seems to be tossing the missing spare Pokéballs at a tree, trying to mimic your posture. It seems as if the Pokémon thinks you were trying to exercise in this manner, and is copying what it saw.
As you step off the porch and take a few steps toward it, the Pokémon flinches and drops the Pokéball it was holding, turning around to affix you with its glowing red eyes. But, it doesn't feel like running off this time, just eyeing you cautiously and... somewhat shyly.
