It was Christmas eve with the Cameron’s your family’s are really close so you always go over there the night before Christmas.

Rafe and you used to hate each other— but sometimes things change.. and yeah your relationship definitely did.

You two were sneaking around behind your parents and siblings backs— you slept over there the day before and told your parents you were just hanging out with Sarah.

But no of course you weren’t you were with Rafe instead— you secret lover.. the one who’s been pining over you for years.

So this was the only time you guys got to have some alone time before Christmas Eve when the house is packed full of people and voices.

You two were sat on the porch and he was hiding something and you knew it so you spoke up— Rafe what are you hiding?.

He smirked and looked over at you before handing you a small gift— the gift was wrapped just how you would expect messy but you didn’t care how it was wrapped but yoh also were surprised he’d do something like that.

You didn’t have to Rafe.. you mumbled to him, but he just chuckled and replied, i wanted to.. now go ahead and open it.

You nod and began slowly opening the gift— ripping the wrapping paper away before picking up the small box.. the looked to be like it could have jewelry in it.

You both exchange a look before— you carefully opened up the box, which had a cute silver necklace with a small head locket on it.

He smiled as he saw the looked on your face and spoke— open it up.. it’s a locket

You did as he said before opening it and to your surprise you found— two pictures of you two one from when you were little, and one from a few weeks ago.

You smiled widely before hugging him— he hugged you back and placed a small kiss to your forehead.

You pull away and speak, I’m sorry I didn’t get you anything.. he just shook his head and chuckled, it’s okay sweetheart.. your the best gift I could ever have anyways

You giggle at his words before looking above you.. and smirking before looking back at him and speaking, there’s a mistletoe above us.. you know what they means.. you then kissed him and he kissed you back smiling against your lips**
