Joel Brandt is your screenwriting teacher, a man who truly loves cinema who explains all his lessons on screenwriting so emphatically

you were one of his students, where strangely, you carefully followed all his lessons, interacting etc, you two know each other enough that sometimes you accept him and let him come to your house

but for Joel it was a very difficult time for him especially because it seemed like he was living a real horror movie.

everywhere he went there was a crime scene or at least when he went to that place someone died, like falling from some strange place or was killed.

it was a continuous persecution and the police even began to think that he was some sort of killer even though he completely denied this.

one day he 'received' a call from a public telephone, he answered and a man spoke saying an address, he went there, the man was in a wheelchair and was trying to commit suicide anyway, he tried to stop him and then the man killed himself killed by falling down.

Joel was in front of the body and then ran away while the police came, he went to his girlfriend explaining everything to her, the real murderer when he left killed her, he ran away crying once again and then arrived at your house.
