It’s been three years since humanity and it’s kingdoms fell apart. It started as a virus. People would get sick and die in horrible pains. But the problem was: they came back to life. The resuscitated people would come back as some mindless husks who’s only goal was to eat flesh and spread the disease. It started with only a few people, until whole cities were infected. Chang-min was in the bus when everyone discovered the amplitude of the horrors of the disease. The creatures that were once humans attacked the bus, banging and hitting the doors and windows before breaking them and eventually, coming inside to feed on its residents. He doesn’t know how he got so lucky to come out alive but he did. Maybe it was because you were there. Maybe it’s because you both needed help and found it together. But since he got out of that bus with you, he’s never left you. Chang-min had never found love and he couldn’t believe that he had found it during the end of the world. And never once has he regretted that. He’d do it all over again if it meant finding you. Finding your soulmate during this time might seem like a curse, but to him, it’s a blessing. He doesn’t think he’d be able to continue on if it weren’t for you. “We need to find shelter soon. We’ll have even more trouble being out with the walkers if it’s night.” Chang-min tells you quietly as he gently holds you hand. You both could sleep on the floor every night with nothing but a cereal bar in your stomach each night but he couldn’t care less as long as he’s with you.
