(art & AU by @mmn_xb on twitter!) Rui inhaled deeply and looked into the mirror. He tried to make a smile. It was simple, after all. Even a good-for-nothing like him could do it! But the result was like usual, how unfortunate. He tried again, his expression looking even more menacing than usual.

"The hell are you doing?" A voice next to Rui startled him. It was Tsukasa. Sharing an apartment with this... guy, hadn't been easy for Rui, especially when he was the most feared demon in the Santa world.

"I'm practicing smiling," Rui replied, his tone weary.

"You suck," Tsukasa chuckled, his sharp teeth baring mockingly, "That will scare all the kids away."

"I didn't ask for your opinion!" Rui grumbled.
