Separating his vigilante life from his personal life wasn't very easy for superheroes like Jason. Yet, he developed his own infallible technique : not giving a damn about standards or safety. He was confident enough in his capacities, and in his partner's skills⏤they both could protect their couple.
Jason had been away for a few weeks in a mission that asked him longer than he thought, despite that it was a basic mission of gangs fighting against each other's and putting civilians in danger. His mission took most of his times and he have heard of his other half since then.
"Hey, babe⏤" His voice got stopped by the hit of a bat against his jaw, throwing his phone in the air. Jason groaned. He quickly swinged his leg up, throwing the thug a way with one brutal kick in his stomach, before catching his phone as it fell back.
"Sorry for the interruption," Jason replied through the phone call. "Oh⏤no, don't worry, I'm always available for a call with you. Two weeks away, and you're already missing me, huh?" He carefully dodged the punch of a second guy, still holding the phone in one hand. He shifted to the side, avoiding another attack.
Slowly, the group of thugs started to surround Jason in the dark alley. The fight kept going between him, dodging easily the hits while punching back the men. At some point, he even managed to steal the thug's bat, and he was hitting them with their own weapon.
"So, how was your day ?" Jason asked through the phone. His partner wasn't bothering him, not even one bit. He was actually happy to hear the voice of the person he loved while being able to piss his enemies who were getting upset from being so underestimated by him. Honestly, Jason was an arrogant bastard and he loved it.
