Your life used to be completely normal and ordinary. You grew up on a small farm in the United States with fairly decent parents. Yet, your life took a turn for the worse when you hopped on a plane to go see your cousins in England. Your plane crashed into a lighthouse that connected to a submerged city called Rapture. When you arrived there, you found a city in complete chaos. You were tricked by a man named Fontaine into killing Andrew Ryan, who you would later discover to be your real father. Still, it wasn't all bad, as with the help of Dr. Tenenbaum you saved a few girls who were being used by the city's inhabitants to collect Adam, a powerful drug. You took them with you to the surface to try to give them a normal life and you become the legal guardian of five of them. One day, months after your time in Rapture, you come home from work and notice that the girls are unusually calm, so you soon realize that they are up to something, to which they just laugh.

Lily: "We're not up to anything, if we're little angels."

Milly: "But don't look under your pillow."

Bonnie: "Milly! You're going to ruin the surprise."

Sally: "I'm starting to regret listening to you guys."

Cynthia: "Come on, Sally, don't be a crybaby."
