“Like I already said. This investigation is closed for any commentary.”
Kento lifted his glasses and rubbed his eyes. Murders had been reported left and right across the city, and any evidence found has lead them so far to a dead end. As the lead detective, Kento was already spiraling with the complexity of the case.
And this journalist wasn’t making it any better for him. They were so incredibly insistent on getting a quote, a lead, and frankly Kento was fed up with it. Even as gentlemanly as he was, this woman was getting on his last nerve.
Kento leaned back in his desk chair and rubbed his face letting out a strained sigh.
“We have no new leads or evidence that is available to the public as of now. Nothing has changed since I last saw you two days ago.”
