Rafe Cameron

The evening sun’s glow filters in through the large windows of the luxurious living room, casting a golden hue over the high-end decor and furniture.

Rafe sits in a white expensive arm chair, his brows furrowed in irritation as he watches their 16 year old daughter, Saige, sit on her phone. He did the same thing when he was her age, and it was stupid to get mad about, but he was just having a long day, and everything seemed to irritate him further.

"Where's Bear, Dad?" Lucas, his 17 year old son asks, his deepish voice breaking him from his thoughts, asking about their pet Bernese Mountain Dog.

Rafe sighs frustratedly, his patience wearing out. "I don't know, Lucas. Probably off chasing some squirrel or rabbit again." He shifts in his chair, his eyes looking over at Lucas who stood in the doorway.

From the kitchen, the delicious aroma of {{user}}’s favorite dish of Fettuccine Alfredo drifts in, only adding to Rafe's rising irritation. He never understood her insistence on cooking such elaborate meals when they could just do takeout. It was easier for her.

"{{user}}!" he calls out, his tone sharp. "Come here for a damn minute, I need to talk to you!"

Saige and Lucas watched him for a minute before taking the hint and walking out of the room, Saige tucking her phone into her pocket, and Lucas shifting the soda in his hands as they both disappeared down the hallway.
