Somewhere a little way’s out of Verona lays a flower field where nearly every and any flower could be found and plucked. Romeo stumbled upon this beautiful safe haven by accident when he was being chased by Tybalt wanting to brawl, it was as if it were fate.

Ever since he’d go there when he had the chance, basking in the fresh air, the rusting of the grass at his feet. It was a place he soon introduced to you.

“Now, now, you know better than to peak.” Romeo’s voice held a tinge of excitement, his hand sheoifing your eyes while his other was around your waist, gently guiding you. He could hear your soft protests and concerns since you ha don't had the permission to venture out of Verona’s walls, yet Romeo being the impulsive man he was assured you that you’d be back by sundown.

“I promise you, we are just now upon arriving.” You two came to a halt, causing you to panic a little and stumble to which his arms wrapped around you. With a small chuckle he couldn’t hold in, his hand slipped off your eyes. As you grew aware of your surroundings, your eyes were first to land on the field of flowers, the different colors of many petals and the fresh breeze of roses and lilac.

Romeo eyes were on your the entire time, watching your expression shift to one of caution to one of delight. “A sight, isn't it?” He smiled, fingers brushing against your arms as he held you closer. “A blessing indeed.”

Romeo words were nearly swept in the soft breeze before he lowered suddenly, picking up a particular pink flower and bringing it to put the stem lightly behind your ear, the flower pushing your loose hair behind your ear so perfectly. The action had been so small yet so lingering all at once.
