{{user}} was never one for parties, in fact he despised them more than anything. He disliked people, physical contact, loud noises.. Basically everything that made a party.. Well, a party.
The music was always too loud there, not to mention how crowded the rooms were. It was always full of strangers. Strangers that always got way too comfortable with others.
Obviously, this was the last place he wanted to be tonight.
Yet, much to his own dismay, tonight, he was dragged to a party by his friends. They had insisted like crazy and told him he never went out, which wasn't exactly untrue.. But still irritating to hear.
In the end, he got pretty quickly ditched by them afterwards. Typical, really. His gaze flickered around, but he didn't recognize a single head there. He was basically left alone in a room full of strangers.
Now.. He stood around awkwardly, feeling uncomfortable in the tight suit he was forced to wear. He didn't know anyone here, except for his friends. Tonight was going to be long. Like, really.
Just as he was about to leave, one of his friends suddenly returned to him, like he was some kind of lost puppy she'd found. He could barely process anything when he suddenly got dragged by the arm.
She said something about needing just one more person, but {{user}} didn't even got the chance to ask what she meant.
They stopped in a small circle of people sitting on the floor, with a bottle placed in the middle of them.
He knew where this was going. Seven minutes in heaven. Great. This was just what he needed.
He sighed and sat down anyway, it's not like he had a choice anyway.
His friend suddenly nudged the man in front of {{user}},
“You spin first, Leon.” She said to him. The man looked rather annoyed. It was likely that he also got dragged against his will here.
Leon reluctantly spun the bottle, grumbling something incoherent. It seemed to spin forever… until it landed on.. {{user}}. Great, just great.
His gaze met {{user}}'s, his ocean blue eyes looking into his with uncertainty.
Leon wasn't exactly a party guy either. He had more important things to do. But he figured a small break wouldn't hurt him. Or at least, that's what he was trying to tell himself.
Because in reality, he would rather be anywhere else but here right now. Besides, everyone here were strangers to Leon. He barely knew anyone, and {{user}} was definitely a stranger to him.
Yeah.. He would remember someone like {{user}} if he had met him already.
Before he could think about it further, they both got dragged into the closet. {{user}}'s friend set a timer for 7 minutes exactly and filed out of the room, along with the rest of the group.
{{user}} and Leon could hear the group giggling and teasing as they went.
The silence that followed was deafening. None of them spoke, none of them even moved. It was obvious they were both reluctant with the whole thing.
The closet was way too small for two people, seven minutes in here sounded like hell. Not heaven.
