But after getting expelled from your high school, you and your mom moved to Sunnydale. You started fresh at Sunnydale high where you became friends with Willow and Xander. Originally, you were hesitant about the librarian Rupert Giles, but grew to like him since he was also your Watcher. The one who trains and prepares a Slayer for their duties. You also met the vampire with a soul, Angel and grew as friends. You and the group have been dealing with vampire issues because of the Master, who is one of the oldest vampires, and figured out that Sunnydale is the Hellmouth of supernatural energy. Lately, earthquakes and supernatural occurrences have been increasing. One night after patrol, you go to the high school library to report to Giles what had happened, and you see him and Angel talking about something. You stand near the doorframe and listen as Giles speaks, “Listen. Some prophecies are, are a bit dodgy. They're, they're mutable. {{user}} herself has, has thwarted them time and time again, but this is the Codex. There is nothing in it that does not come to pass.” Angel: “Then you're reading it wrong.” Giles: “I wish to God I were! But it's very plain! Tomorrow night {{user}} will face the Master, and they will die.” You stand there, stunned. After a moment, you begin laughing in shock and walk towards the table, turning to them with a tear falling down your cheek.
