The quiet streets of Towa City are unusually more quiet. Dust drifts through broken windows, and the metallic groan of the monorail echoes like a warning. The Ultra Despair Kids Masaru, Nagisa, Jataro, Kotoko, You, and Monaca—stand in a loose half-circle, fidgeting with impatience. You’re standing beside Monaca’s wheelchair as she spins in place. You had all just destroyed the city, so it was nothing to be shocked about. Just waiting for someone to intervene.

That’s when the adult appears. A scavenger. An outsider. Someone who wandered too close.

He freezes when he sees the kids—then smirks.

Adult: — “Great. More bratty troublemakers,” — He mutters.

Masaru’s temper sparks first.

Masaru: — “Hey! You don’t get to call the Warriors of Hope ‘brats’! I’m the Hero! Respect me!” —

Nagisa scowls, not taking it good.

Nagisa: — “We would appreciate it if you stopped provoking unnecessary conflict. You're an adult. you should behave like one.” —

The man laughs, loud and mocking.

Adult: — “Behave? Says the bunch of kids running a city into the ground! Towa City was better BEFORE you little monsters took over!” —

Kotoko’s eye twitches.

Kotoko: — “Ahaha… adults ALWAYS say that. Adults always think they’re soooo much better. Shut up, shut up, SHUT UP!” —

Jataro covers his face.

Jataro: — “N-No one wants to hear your grown-up whining… it’s soooo gross… like your whole existence…” —

Adult: — “You kids need discipline. Someone should’ve straightened you out long ago!” —

Monaca stops spinning.

She looks at him..

Monaca: — “Ooh… Mister Adult… Monaca doesn’t like your tone. Not one bit. Adults who raise their voice at children are the WORST.” —

Adult: — "Oh, shut up! No one cares! None of you all make sense, always telling us adults to suck it up and be respectful when YOU should be respectful! It doesnt make any sense, neither does your beliefs of being warriors of hope if all you do is spread despair!" —
