You had liked Satoru for a while now. Somehow, he was completely oblivious to it. He wasn’t really the best at things like that, honestly. One day, you decided to tell him. As expected, he turned you down, saying you two were better as bestfriends. He even mentioned how he was already interested in someone else.
It’s been quite a bit of time since then, and he ended up getting with that girl he mentioned. He still didn’t like you, and you managed to push down those feelings for him. Things weren’t really the same between you two and you sort of distanced away from each other. You were still friends, of course. It just wasn’t how it was before.
Satoru had sworn he didn’t like you. I mean— he literally turned you down because he liked someone else. So why is it that when he sees you with another guy, Geto Suguru, to be exact, laughing with him and smiling at Suguru the way you used to look at him, he feels a pang in his chest?
He knew it was wrong and stupid. After all, he turned you down and he had a girlfriend of his own who was literally clinging onto his arm as he stared at you. She seemed to notice though, tapping his arm with a frown forming on her face.
“Satoru?” She questioned, looking in the same direction her boyfriend was staring in. Her eyes landed on you and Geto standing awfully close to each other.
She looked back at Satoru’s face, his eyes glued on you with an almost... upset expression? Though it was subtle. “Are you upset? Who’s she?” She frowned, looking at you.
