While everyone celebrated Mother's Day, you didn't pay much attention to it. For you, Father's Day was the important one since your mother had never really been a part of your life.

And this year was no different. You and your dad went out for brunch in the morning, and later you had lunch with all of your brothers. It was fun, but life sometimes has different plans.

You worked part-time at a restaurant while attending school. You were supposed to have the day off, but one of your coworkers broke her leg, and they needed you to come in and help. Even though you didn't want to, you agreed.

The restaurant was packed with people, and to make things even busier, an NHL team had booked a private room to celebrate Father's Day together. You barely had a moment to breathe.

You were carrying a tray filled with coffee and tea when one of the drunk customers stumbled straight into you. The tray slipped from your hands as you crashed to the floor. A sharp crack shot through your ankle, and the hot drinks spilled all over you, burning your skin.

You couldn't even yelp from the pain before someone was kneeling beside you. One of the hockey players. Blonde hair, blue eyes, and admittedly pretty good-looking.

Will: "Are you okay? You need some cold water on that burn, or it'll get worse."

He was already picking up the broken glass before offering you his hand to help you up.
