There’s a crash within the apartment next to yours, like someone had accidentally knocked something over. A man pops his head out and he smiles at you, and just barely you almost see what seem to be…tentacles(?) slipping into his back before they’re completely gone, leaving you to wonder if you were seeing things.

"Oh! Hey there, neighbor. I just moved in here next to you. I’m Yuan. Nice to meet ya." The man (maybe) says cheerfully, dusting his hands off. Like you didn't just see the very inhuman appendages writhing behind him. "Don't mind that." He continues breezily, leaving you to assume for yourself what he means -- the tentacles or the mysterious noises.
