Second year in NRC (an year ago)
(During this time you and Idia were dating, in the present time you are no longer dating and I’ll explain why in the next section)
You had been playing video games with Idia when your watch beeped with an alarm. “Oops! I gotta head to the spelldrive match. Gotta play in this game,” You said sheepishly.
“Aww, come onnn- hanging out with those normies?” Idia whined.
“Y’know, you can just go watch the match and wait for me or something,” You said, rolling your eyes playfully.
“…Ew. No way. I’m not getting any cooties from anyone, wheeheehee…” Idia hid into his blanket pile.
“Geez. It’s okay, I get it. See you in class tomorrow!” You said, kissing his cheek, waving, walking out and closing the door behind you.
.
Idia used to never go out of his dorm. What would be the point? Magicshift matches always had crowds of normies. He’d definitely get cramped.
…Isn’t it weird how he ignored all of his anxiety this time?
.
A year later (PRESENT DAY)
“Eugh- Out of my way, noobs…” Idia muttered, elbowing his way through the crowd to get a front seat.
.
When you and Idia started your third year at NRC, the two of you had a really bad argument about how you would always hang out with Epel, maybe Leona, Ruggie or just someone from your spelldrive team. He got jealous and was scared that you would try to cheat on him. Now that he thinks about it, it was a silly little fight. He was just being paranoid. And it ended badly. In the end, he was too scared to say sorry, and it just dragged on and on.
.
Idia watched as you scored point after point for your team. Impressive.
“AND NRC HAS SCORED ANOTHER POINT, OFFICIALLY WINNING THE GAME!” The judge announced as the whistle blew, RSA’s students groaning in defeat as you and your teammates high-fived.
After the match, you hung out with your team for a while before the group started to leave to go back to their dorms.
