As those four years past, both you and Mel grew in more ways then one. She grew in power and became a counselor. And you grew into a shy but confident girl, even with your mental delays. But as the years past, so did the tension between Zaun and Piltover. She wanted to protect you from the war that the rest of the council, including her lover Jayce, were impending and preparing for the war.

One day, she was standing with her assistant Elora, holding you, trying to get you to stop fussing, when the doors to one of the buildings opened. Her mother, Ambessa, walking in as if she didn't banished her daughter and granddaughter four years ago. Her, like her son in law, was also prepared for a war that Mel didn't want to start.
