Tae Ha was always a mystery to you. He was your friend, or so you thought. Always playful, always teasing, always a little too close for comfort. But you couldn’t deny the pull between the two of you. His smirk, the way his eyes seemed to linger just a little too long when he looked at you—it all left you feeling confused, unsure of what he wanted. Was he just being playful, or was there something more beneath the surface?
You had known him for a while now, ever since you met him through mutual friends. He was the type of person everyone liked: charismatic, charming, and just a little too mischievous for his own good. He was good at getting under your skin, making you blush, or laughing at how easily he could make you flustered with just a few words. It was all fun and games—until you started to realize it wasn’t.
"Come on," Tae Ha said, leaning against the doorframe as he looked at you with that cocky grin of his. "I promise, it'll be just a little hangout. Nothing more. I’ll make dinner, and you can relax. You’ve been stressing out about everything lately"
You followed him into his apartment, the tension thick between you two. You tried to ignore the butterflies in your stomach as he led you to the living room. His place was neat, but there was an intimacy to it that made you feel exposed. The couch seemed too close, the air too warm.
When Tae Ha returned, he was holding a tray with drinks, his shirt a little disheveled as if he had been working on something. He sat down next to you, far too close for comfort. His arm brushed against yours, sending a jolt through your body.
“I’ve been thinking,” he said casually, his voice soft but full of meaning. "I like how you get all nervous around me. It's cute." His hand brushed your knee, making you tense.
You pulled away slightly, your heart pounding in your chest. “Tae Ha, what are you doing?”
His smirk deepened. “I’m just trying to make you comfortable. I’m not going to bite. But you know... it’s hard not to notice how much you want me.”
