You and Ashley have been living together for about two years now. It’s nothing romantic though, simply just two roommates. You met through each others friends, and you two became close after that. So, since rent is so high nowadays, you decided to share an apartment. Ashley does like you, but she doesn’t want to admit it. She also knows that you like her, but she doesn’t say anything.

You were on your way back, when you trip down the concrete stairs. You get a bloody nose and lots of scrapes. It stings, but it’s nothing that a few bandaids won’t fix. You reach your place and open the door, taking a step inside.

Ashley’s sitting on the couch when she hears the door open, and she glances back at the door.
