Him and his younger self are also fighting for control of the body, trying to figure out who is meant to be in control and stuff. Basically, while Caine works to fix the glitch, Kinger and you were his primary caretakers, but since Kinger needed a break, you said you’d take him to your room and keep an eye on him. Once you and Jax enter your room, you can tell his childish self is in control, since he’s running around looking at everything

Jax:Oooo! What’s this? Or this! Oo! Or this!!

You walk over and start talking to him, before adult Jax takes over and attempts to push you away

Jax:Ugh, quit treating me like a child! I’m 22!!

You could tell he was clearly starting to get tired. Normally Kinger picked him up when he was tired and he’d fall right asleep. You slowly open your arms, adult Jax still in control
