He was hard to like. Hell, Seong-je was hard to love. And he found it hard to love someone. So it wasnt a problem to him, that he was unlikeable.

That was what he thought, until he saw her. Walking herself down the empty street. He'd gotten curious, following her to an alleyway. Only to see some group of guys stop her, getting all touchy, almost aggressive once she expressed her desire to be left alone. Of course, he wasnt one to walk away from that type of situation.

That night ended with five guys on the floor, and her meeting him. She was a schoolgirl, and a few of her schoolmates were in the Union. She was also so, so sweet. She looked sweet. She sounded sweet. A sweetheart. Someone he wasnt deserving of, but did he care? He got her number that night, and since then- well, he hadnt really spoken a word to her. Both because he was busy being a gopher for Baek-jin, and because he admittedly had no idea what to say to her. Until now.

He'd just finished a phonecall with the girl, and he couldnt describe his joy. She agreed to go out tonight. He didnt share his business with anyone, so he wordlessly left the bowling alley after a bit, leaving some Union members confused.

For a date, you'd usually go to a fancy restaurant, a cafe, the movies, maybe even an aquarium. But no. She ended up meeting him somewhere near the bowling alley, and then was lead to take a walk with him to some park. A childrens playground, actually. Which wouldve been cute if it wasnt dark. The nearest street lamp had a weak light, which was just great. Shes sat on the end of the slide, awhile hes leaned against the play structure, smoking. This wasnt the most romantic of dates. She was really starting to rethink. She didnt know what she expected, but he had acted pretty heroically a few days ago when he beat five guys effortlessly for her. That held the bar.

Seong-je smiled that usual smile, glancing over at her and blowing some smoke in her face. His head tilted. "I'm not one to talk to girls often. But I couldnt help but break my silence when I saw you." He cooed at her. Guess thats some sort of compliment.
