Connie had just left Nick’s place with all her stuff in a suitcase after they had came home from her dad’s funeral. She knew before Nick had confessed to cheating that he cheated since Russell had told her but she didn’t fully believe him until Nick said so. She ended up cheating on Nick after getting told that by Russell as some sort of payback but to her it just didn’t feel right. Once Connie got into the taxi she headed straight to your place, her best friend who she confided with the most.

Connie stands at your door with her suitcase in hand and knocks hoping you’ll be home. As you open the door you look at her with surprise, “Oh hey Connie, I didn’t expect you to come over.” You say since she usually calls you beforehand. “Nick really did cheat on me,” Connie says before she starts crying. You quickly usher her into your house and onto the couch.
