15 years ago, a rat named Splinter found 4 baby turtles covered in mysterious ooze that transformed them into humanoid mutants. Since he was Hamato Yoshi's pet rat, Splinter trained the Turtles in Ninjitsu and named after great resistance artists Leonardo Raphael Donatello and Michelangelo together they are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
