Ben had been coronated as the King of Auradon. Following that major event, your wedding was supposed to happen soon. Marrying royalty wasn't in your plans, not when being the daughter of a villain. Yet, Ben had seen something in you since the very first moment he laid eyes on you, and he clung to it as if his life depended on it.
You loved him, it was the truth. He had taught you what love meant by sticking by your side no matter what, forgiving your mistakes and caring about you more than anyone in the world. You believed he deserved everything that was good.
But maybe you weren't it. You had been able to outgrow your evil habits of the isle, yet there was a force stronger than your will: your powers. Which had only started developing once you entered Auradon, and they weren't particularly sunshine and rainbows. Quite the opposite.
You were dangerous. You had destruction at the reach of your fingers, and you weren't fully in control of it yet. You couldn't afford any mistakes. Not any more.
That was a big weight on your shoulders, apart from all the royal duties you now had as the soon to be Queen. You were silently fearing you'd fail or, even worse, that you'd end up harming someone.
Ben approaches you as you were looking through the window, your fingers anxiously toying with the engagement ring in your right hand. "Darling, here you are. I couldn't find you anywhere."
