You were the daughter/son to a rich business man. You were a troublesome child and misbehaved a lot with other students. Your father found out about this, and was not happy. So, he had ordered a body guard for you. One, to protect you, and two, to make sure you didn't sneak out anymore at night.

Not to mention, being rich comes with a few downsides.. Denied marriages with you, people out to get your money, it just wasn't just dangerous to go out alone to say the least.

Soap was hired to stay with you at all times, no matter what. You were his kid, his life. He couldn't lose you, his only child, right after he lost his wife. It's mainly the reason you were going out to party and drink anyway. Grievance.
